The seminar for foreign language teachers

Took place in CPIT VŠB-TUO building during Wednesday 6.10.2010. The seminar was concentrated on the possibilities of abroad language or methodological mobilities for foreign language teachers from basic and secondary schools.

The teachers got an information where to look for the mobilities, how to write a application for a grant. They also listened to the presentation of n.o. Garrigue coordinator who just came back from an intensive language course in London.

Weekend for women with English lectures

We enjoyed a great weekend in lovely coloured nature of Jeseníky mountain. We were doing power and creative yoga, pilates, dance aerobic, enjoyed zumba lesson, experienced a great choreography of port de bras. During Saturday we learnt new English words and phrases during lessons concentrated on teaching English by playing games, took a trip to stylish old-fashioned pub and in the evening sang the songs together nearly for  5 hours :-)! One would guess, nobody really wanted to leave the place...

Weekend for women with TANTRA

During the November weekend we could have taken a chance to draw out the curtain of a little mysterious tantra exercise. All the lectures were led by a great a sensitive lady Lucka and we could have also tried interesting tantra massage prepared by Julie. The programme was as usually various – we danced zumba, strengthen our muscles in the lectures of Body and Mind and enjoyed our company by talking by a glass of a good wine and singing by the guitar. During Saturday trip we were lucky to see the sun and bath our mind in warm sunny spells.

St. Nicholas weekend for kids and parents

Our organization prepared a playful and joyful weekend for kids and their parents. We prepared nice and funny games which could have enjoyed both children and their parents. St. Nicholas pentathlon for children and parents took place in the gym and outside in the nature. By fulfilling all the pentathlon tasks we secretly looked out for the St. Nicholas with a little doubt if he finds us in the wild nature.

And he did arrive! Together with devil and angel, St. Nicholas listened to the children songs, watched their lovely dances and in the end he gave to all of them a small gift. St. Nicholas promised to come again next year if children are going to behave well and listen to their parents :)

Weekend  "In the new year to the good condition"

Our organisation together with CK Frčíme organized second annual weekend full of movement and winter sport activities in the beautiful mountain region Jeseníky. Participants enjoyed various inside activities such as power yoga, dancing aerobics, aqua aerobic and outside skiing and walking. During the first evening we welcomed Santa Clouse and sang Christmas carols, second evening was a time for very funny and cheerful New Years Eve. We look forward for another weekend in March!

International project meeting

Fifth meeting of the project was organized by our organisation n.o. Garrigue in Ostrava.

We distributed the tasks (final brochure and reports making) among our partners. The program was very interesting. The partners visited Mining museum in Landek, view tower in city centre, ice-hockey match between Vítkovice and Brno ice-hockey teams, bowling, Pustevny and the famous street in Ostrava - Stodolní.

It was very nice occasion - thanks to all for the nice time we spent together!

International day of women - weekend

Great weekend with perfect women :) Well equipped hotel Mesit was a place where most of our activities were concentrated. We could have chosen from various relaxing facilities – sauna, whirpool, swimming pool. On the programme there were: zumba exercise, balance exercises with over balls, power yoga, interesting tantra dances, which left quite big impression in our souls, Tai Chi and Port de bras. For the sunny Saturday we could have chosen from cross-country ski, downhill ski or trekking trip to Pustevny. And together with all of this we managed to take massages, cosmetic care, lecture about makeup and party with a good wine and sound of guitar.

Ostrava Aerobics Marathon

More than 125 people came to dancing in the Sports hall Dubina! The favourite instructors of aerobics practised five entertainment dancing lessons. The marathon was very succesfull this year! The winner of this yearś marathon is Kateřina Homolová from Ostrava. Congratulation!

The unconventional weekend in Vysočina

The family with small children experienced  nice and unconventional weekend in Vysočina. Three beautiful  sunny dayes were intense and full of various activities and laughter!

Central School Of English language in London

Coordinator of Grundtvig project “Adult motivation with nature sports”, where  n.o. Garrigue is one of the partners, got a financial support to go for an intensive language course to London. At the same time it was very useful, tiring and wonderful! Thanks to NA for such a possibility to improve our English level!

Bike cup for small children

Sokol Háj ve Slezsku and n.o. Garrigue organized the first competition for small children (age 2-6) by bike. 28 children came with their parents there. The weather was pleasant and all of children were satisfied! They competed with glee and enjoyed this competition!  Their parents were excellent stimulators and they  cheered loudly. All were winners :-)!

Weekend on the move

We spent a nice and pleasant weekend in hotel Kamzík in the splendid mountain - Jeseníky. 57 woman and one man were there! We trained various exercises of aerobic aned lessons body and mind (dance yoga, port de bras), circular training, aquaaerobic, swimming and super trip - by nordic walking and so on. All of people  could choose from some relaxing procedure - massage, cosmetics, manicure, laying :-)..In the evening we played by guitar and sang a lot of songs ! Thank you all of you for nice time. We look forward to autumn weekend in 15.-17.10.2010 in hotel Neptun!

Weekend for active people

In the new year to the good condition!

Programme was varied for all: body work, interval training, power yoga, porte de brass, aquaaerobics, skiing, crosscountry skiing, snowshoes, funny lesson of english, funy and nice evenings with singing and play guitar! This weekend was very pleasant with nice people. Thank you! We are looking forward to next weekend in May.

The meeting of project Grundtvig

The meeting of the partners from project Grundtvig:  Mobility Opportunities for Disabled Learners took place in Ostrava. Our organization helped to the Sport club of wheelchair handicapped with preparation and organisation of the programme. Together we hosted partners from Portugal and England. Everybody enjoyed this meeting a lot!
